Welcome to Grace Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Grace is a diverse community of Christians who enjoy the variety of age, gender, ethnic and cultural heritage of friends and members who gather to worship together each week. Many of our members have come to this community from other faith traditions and found a deep satisfaction in our traditional style of worship, done consistently and well. Their new-ness adds to the vitality of our experience. Other members are from Lutheran families of many generations who add great depth to our experience.
We have a spirit of witness, mission and service to bring to the broader community. The Gospel of Matthew states ‘Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.’ Grace is filled with people who are experiencing what life is throwing at them today. As a community we try to bring something new out of our understanding that will give us a glimpse of the Kingdom. Jesus invites us into a conversation with Christians who struggle with what it means to be in relationship with God and each other. To look beyond ourselves. To listen with new ears.
