Christian Education

 Jesus is our faith.  Jesus is our worship.  Jesus in our teaching.
At Grace Lutheran we are dedicated to the teaching of Jesus to all.

 

On Sunday mornings at 9:25am we start our Sunday School with a prayer and song.  We give praise to God for birthdays, anniversaries, tests that have been passed, babies born, making it through another week of Texas weather or any family announcements. Then we have classes for different ages:

 

         Nursery
         Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
         1st – 3rd grade
         4th -6th grade
         Confirmation Class
         High School
         Young Adults
         Senior Adults

 Each class uses age specific materials to explain about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  Crafts are often used to being the message to the youth; whereas, the Senior Adults are currently studying the Bible verse by verse.

 During the summer we have a fun week of Vacation Bible School. In 2011, we studied Psalm 119, using Panda Mania materials  to engage everyone to learn about Jesus.

 

There is also a Men’s Bible Study on Thursday evenings and a Woman’s Bible Study on  the second Thursday Morning of the month.  Please contact us for further information on these study sessions.
